YOUR PERSONALIZED PORTRAIT SESSION
Booking a photo session, especially if this is the first time for you or your family, can seem like a daunting process. Here I have outlined the steps we will take together when you are looking to book a session with me
LET'S CONSULT
Either over the phone or in person, we will discuss the details of your portrait session. What is your end goal? Which images are a must for you? What type of setting are you envisioning? If we meet in person, you can take a look at my prints firsthand. I have wall art, heirloom albums, and photo book samples from some of my favorite shoots. Once you book during the consult, or shortly thereafter, you will need to place a non-refundable (50% of session fee )retainer fee to reserve your session. I will then give you a welcome packet that will help you prepare for the session. I even include a handy what to wear guide!
PORTRAIT SESSION TIME
Depending on the type of session you have booked, we will schedule an hour or two for your on-location photo shoot. You can sit back, relax, and put on a smile. I’ll photograph you and your loved ones during that time – sometimes switching cameras or gear – with multiple poses as part of the session, including any must have images you requested during the consultation. You will be required to pay the remaining balance on the day of the session. After our time together, I will choose the best images and edit them artistically.
THE BIG REVEAL
A week after your portrait session we will schedule a time to get together. We can meet at a nearby coffee shop or at your home – wherever you are most comfortable. I will present you with a complete gallery of images. You can view your images on either sample prints or on a monitor. Anyone making decisions on the images should be present at this appointment. And it is best if there are no children present, as we want to make valuable use of our time together. I will guide you through the images and help you pick the best ones. For wall art, I can help you determine which image would look best with your décor. You will have the option to buy from my collections or a la carte. Or create your own collection of images. There is no order minimum.
